Two people who allegedly robbed a Fort Collins bank were arrested on Interstate 25 south of Cheyenne Thursday afternoon.

Colorado authorities say  33 year old Kody Davis and 31 year old Amanda Menard, both of Texas, robbed Western States Bank in Fort Collins around 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

Investigators say Menard passed a note to a bank teller demanding money, which she was given. She then allegedly fled to a getaway car driven by Davis.

Larimer County (Colorado) deputies soon found the vehicle and a high speed chase up Interstate 25 followed. The Wyoming and Colorado Highway Patrols joined in the chase.

The pair were captured without incident at milepost marker 2 of I-25, not far from Cheyenne. The pair at last report were being held in the Laramie County jail on traffic charges awaiting extradition to Colorado on the bank robbery allegations.

The FBI has joined the investigation, according to Colorado authorities.
