Are you a bird watcher or a photographer looking for subject matter?

The Cheyenne High Plains Audubon Society will be traveling to lakes along the Colorado Front Range on Saturday, March 21, and you're welcome to come along.

If you are interested in a road trip on Saturday, March 21, members of the Cheyenne Audubon Society will be leaving at 8 a.m. from the parking lot next to the Old Community House in Lions Park. Carpooling may be available, RSVP to Mark Gorges at 634-0463. The group will be returning at 1 p.m.

Bring your binoculars, camera and comfortable walking shoes to observe waterbirds at various lakes along the Front Range in northern Colorado. Possible stops include the Rawhide Power Plant and the Fossil Creek Reservoir west of Windsor.

If you love taking pictures, this might be a nice day to capture some beautiful shots of nature in the Rocky Mountains.
