Cheyenne BOPU Considering Master Plan

A Nebraska engineering company has presented a draft master plan to the Cheyenne Board of Public Utilities.

BOPU Spokesman Clint Bassett  says the $979, 000 draft plan compiled by HDR. Inc. of Omaha attempts to look at challenges likely to be faced by the BOPU in coming decades. For example, it projects the board will have a customer base of about 122,000 by 2063, compared to about 75,000.

The entire draft master plan can be viewed online. Bassett says the next step in the process is for the board to begin formal consideration of the recommendations in the report and what action, if any, to take in response.
