Cheyenne Botanic Gardens Children’s Village Welcomes Six Foot Tall Rabbit
A 6-foot-tall rabbit has arrived at the Paul Smith Children’s Village in Lions Park.
The Cheyenne Botanic Gardens has announced the addition of a new sculpture, inspired by the rabbit from ‘Alice in Wonderland.’
The sculpture was created by local artist Guadalupe Barajas.
The rabbit sculpture was a gift from Dan and Leah Allegretti made in memory of A. J. ‘Tony’ and E. L. ‘Jib’ Allegretti.
The sculpture titled ‘Late Again‘ will fit right in during the annual Mad Hatter Tea Party in early September at the gardens.
Shane Smith, Cheyenne Botanic Gardens Director, says the sculpture “is a great combination of whimsy and imagination and will be treasured by generations to come.”
