The Laramie County Master Gardeners and the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens are hosting a cooking presentation and demonstration by local author Willi Evans Galloway on Thursday, August 2, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Paul Smith Children’s Village in Lions Park.

The Cheyenne native will be signing her book after the presentation, and copies of ‘Grow Cook Eat-A Food Lover’s Guide to Vegetable Gardening’ will be on sale. The event, limited to 50 people, has sold out.

At the Cheyennne Botanic Gardens through Sunday, August 5, bring the kids to The Little Critters Mobile Petting Zoo. For a small fee, you can pet all kinds of animals. It’s open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and is adjacent to the Botanic Gardens greenhouse.
