Cheyenne Botanic Gardens Teach Lessons on Wind Turbines and Airplanes
How much do you know about wind turbines and airplanes?
You might want to attend the 'Flight School' offered by the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens on Tuesday, July 1, starting at 1 p.m. in the Paul Smith Children's Village.
As part of their 'Summer of Power' series, sponsored by Cheyenne Light, Fuel and Power, the Children's Village will host 'Flight School: Wind Turbines & Airplanes.'
It's a free workshop to teach kids and their parents about renewable energy resources. The 'Summer of Power' series continues on Saturday, July 5, with 'Plant Heroes & Pollinator Tag' beginning at 1 p.m.
The Cheyenne Botanic Gardens received considerable damage from last week's hail storm, check their website on ways you can help them recover.
