Cheyenne City Council Appoints Municipal Judges

The Cheyenne City Council, Monday night, unanimously confirmed the appointments of Mark Moran as Senior Municipal Court Judge and Kimberly Skoutary as Municipal Court Judge.

Judge Moran has been a Cheyenne Municipal Court Judge since 1999.  Skoutary has worked as an Assistant District Attorney for the First Judicial District in Cheyenne since 2009.

"I think we have a very good team here to be able to serve the people of Cheyenne," said Mayor Rick Kaysen.  "Together they have a vast background and experience with the law and courts."

Moran and Skoutary will take their oath of office on September 1 at 8:30 a.m. in the council chambers.
