The Cheyenne curb-side waste program will end next week, according to city spokesman Scott Smith.

The last day of pickup will be Friday, November 17. The Cheyenne city-wide leaf pickup is slated for Saturday, November 18. Residents are being asked to have bagged leaves by the curb by 6:30 a.m. that day.

Smith is also reminding people that the city landfill no longer accepts grass, leaves or any other yard waste. Those items need to be taken to the Compost Facility at 3714 Windmill Road.

The compost facility is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday during the winter months.
