Cheyenne Firefighters Respond to Semi-Truck Fire Inside Repair Facility

The Cheyenne Fire & Rescue Department responded to a fire at 4221 South Industrial Service Road early Saturday, November 16.

Firefighters were called to Peterbilt of Wyoming at 2:45 a.m. for a possible structure fire. When firefighters arrived on scene they quickly determined that a semi-truck was on fire in a repair bay. Firefighters had the fire out in less than 20 minutes.

The semi-truck sustained significant damage and there was smoke damage to the building. Cause of the fire is still under investigation. There is no dollar amount damage at this time.

A passer-by noticed smoke in the area and called 911. There were no injuries.
