A new shuttle service For Cheyenne Frontier Days visitors will debut during CFD 2015.

The ":Cowboy Triangle" will run busses between downtown Cheyenne, Frontier Park and the CFD ''Park and Ride" parking lots.

Both Cheyenne City and Laramie County School District#1 busses will be used in the shuttle service. The shuttle service starts on Friday, July 17 and will run though the rest of CFD 2015.

Mayor Rick Kaysen says the idea behind the shuttle is to reduce congestion on city streets during the busiest time of the year, encourage people to visit downtown Cheyenne and generally improve convenience of travel during CFD.

The new program is a joint effort between the City of Cheyenne, Cheyenne Frontier Days, the Cheyenne Transit Program and the Cheyenne Downtown Development Authority (DDA). The fee to ride the busses is $1.00, but the DDA and local merchants have purchased tokens to allow the first 8,000 to ride for free.

Route information for the shuttle service is available here.
