How did your favorite Cheyenne high school team do on Friday?

It's the fifth week of the high school football season and it featured the match-up of Cheyenne's long-time rivals East and Central while South faced Laramie.

At the new Okie Blanchard Stadium on Friday, October 2, East was leading 17-13 late in the game when Central came from behind to shock the #4-ranked Thunderbirds 20-17. The Indians hadn't won a game at on East High's turf since 2007.

Friday's rainy weather delayed the Bison's game at South High School against Laramie by about an hour and 20 minutes. South was looking for their first win of the season and put up a tough fight in this high scoring game. The Plainsmen held on for the victory though and win 52-42.
