How did your Cheyenne team finish off their regular season?

Football teams from Cheyenne's three high schools wrapped up their regular seasons on Friday. Check the scores to see if your team is headed to the playoffs. 

All three of Cheyenne's high school football teams lost on Friday night, October 23. Despite that, there's still one heading to the state playoffs.

Cheyenne East was the only team playing at home, they were hosting #1-ranked Gillette at Okie Blanchard stadium. The Camels beat the Thunderbirds 28-14. The T-Birds still managed to make the playoffs as the #4 seeded team.

The seasons ended for Cheyenne's other high school teams on Friday. They were both on the road, Central traveled to Evanston while South headed north to face #2-ranked Sheridan.

The Bison of South High School lost to the Sheridan Broncs 57-17 and the Indians were edged by Evanston's Red Devils 17-16. Central and South were both eliminated from the playoffs.

Casper Kelly Walsh, Laramie and Evanston will have a 3-way coin flip to determine their seeding as they head into the high school playoffs. The Casper Natrona Mustangs will be the #3 seeded team and Rock Springs ended up as the #5 seed.

Class 4A:

#1 Gillette 28 #4 Cheyenne East 14 – East is #4 seed.

#2 Sheridan 57 Cheyenne South 17

#3 Natrona 19 #4 Rock Springs 14 – NC is #3 seed. RS is #5 seed.

Laramie 48 Kelly Walsh 14 – KW, Laramie and Evanston have to do a 3-way coin flip for seeding.

Evanston 17 Cheyenne Central 16 – Central eliminated.

Next week, Cheyenne East will host Rock Springs at Okie Blanchard stadium in the first round of the high school football playoff.
