Did your high school football team win this week?

Only one Cheyenne high school football team claimed victory on Friday and one school suffered a surprising upset. 

Just the Cheyenne East T-Birds got a win on Friday,September 25, and they were on the road in Casper. According to the WyoPreps sports website, the #5-ranked Thunderbirds beat Kelly Walsh 28-7. Last week, KW defeated South 36-8.

Cheyenne South High also had to travel, they headed north to take on Gillette. The #2-ranked Camels downed the Bison 48-9.

The Central Indians had the home field advantage at Riske Field in Cheyenne and also had a 16-game winning streak going into the game against Laramie. At the end, the Plainsmen surprised the Indians when they went for a successful 2-point conversion and edged Central 35-34.
