Looking for some affordable entertainment this weekend? How about a cultural experience in downtown Cheyenne that includes live music, dancers, food and a car show!

The Cheyenne Hispanic Festival 2013 kicks off Friday, May 31, at 6 p.m. on the Depot Plaza and continues Saturday, June 1, beginning with the car show at 11 a.m.Free entertainment on Friday includes guitarist Tito Malaga, the local band New Image and the Cheyenne dance group Folklorico Colonias de Jalisco.

Saturday's lineup includes the Kruzin band out of Denver and Mariachi Vasquez taking the stage at 2 p.m.

The Cheyenne Hispanic Festival also includes lots of food and beer, pinatas for the kids, a jalapeno eating contest for the brave and an exhibit inside the depot. It's all free and right in downtown.
