The Cheyenne Regional Medical Center Transitional Care Unit (TCU) has been given a five-star rating by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

That's the highest category in the CMS rating system for such facilities. The rating is included in the U.S. News and World Report's article on 2014's best nursing homes. CRMC's TCU is a 16-bed unit that provides transitional care for patients who need skilled nursing or other supportive care before they return home, according to a CRMC news release.
