Here are some photos of the brave souls who were "freez'n for a reez'n" at Sloan's Lake last weekend!

The weather was nicer than expected at the annual Cheyenne Jackalope Jump on October 22, raising money for Special Olympics Wyoming. Link to their website for ways you can help.

The water was still very cold in Sloan's Lake at Lions Park as you can see by the chilly jumpers faces. (at least there wasn't any ice on the water like earlier this year and last year)

If you can't wait to go jump in a lake, the Casper Jackalope Jump is coming up on a Saturday in early February of 2012 according to Erin Gamroth, the Director of Special Events and PR at Special Olympics Wyoming.

The Laramie Jackalope Jump will be scheduled for a Saturday in March that doesn't conflict with any University of Wyoming sports.
