Are you ready to get scared?

It's October and that means Halloween is on the way. If you're looking to get into the 'spirit' of the season, the annual 'Nightmare on 17th Street' haunted house is having their sneak preview October 2 and 3.

The Knights of Pythias present their annual 'Nightmare on 17th Street' haunted house at 312 1/2 West 17th Street in downtown Cheyenne each weekend through October 31. Their Sneak Preview weekend is Friday, October 2, and Saturday, October 3, from 7 to 11 p.m.

Admission is $10 with a 10 percent discount offered for Military members. If you dress like a zombie, the price is cut in half and you can get in for only $5. Due to the intensity of some of their frights, they don't allow anyone in under 8 years old or anyone who is pregnant or suffers from heart problems for your own safety.

The regular 'Nightmare on 17th Street' runs Friday and Saturday nights through Halloween from 7 to 11 p.m. And back by popular demand, on Thursday, October 29, they will have their Blackout Night where all the lights are turned off and each group is given glow sticks to light their way through the haunted house.

For more information, you can call the Knights of Pythias Lodge at 778-7609.
