Have you ever wanted to play Snoopy up on stage?

The Cheyenne Little Theatre Players are holding auditions February 22 and 23 for their upcoming production of 'You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown.'

If you have ever wanted to be one of the Peanuts characters you've been following in the Sunday Comics, here's your chance. The Cheyenne Little Theatre Players will be presenting 'You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown' at the Atlas Theatre April 15 through May 1.

Auditions will be held at the Mary Godfrey Playhouse, Pershing and Windmill, on Monday, February 22, and Tuesday, February 23, starting at 6 p.m. Callbacks will be on Wednesday, February 24. Roles available for adults include:

  • Charlie Brown-A Little Boy
  • Sally Brown-His Little Sister
  • Snoopy-His Dog
  • Linus Van Pelt-His Best Friend
  • Lucy Van Pelt-Linus' Older Sister
  • Schroeder-A Young Musician

Children will be cast in the roles of 4 Birds who are Groupies of Snoopy, they are looking for kids between the ages of 6 and 12 to dance with Snoopy.

Adults auditioning will be asked to do a cold reading from the script, some improvisation, a brief dance and sing 36 bars from a Broadway musical song not from this show.

Tickets are still available for 'Lend Me A Tenor' playing three more times at the Mary Godfrey Playhouse, Pershing and Windmill, this weekend. Show times are at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, February 26 and 27, and the Sunday matinee on February 28 begins at 2 p.m.
