Have you thought about showing off your talent on stage?

The Cheyenne Little Theatre Players are holding auditions for their latest production, 'August: Osage County,' at the Mary Godfrey Playhouse on March 14 and 15.

Anyone is welcome to audition for the show which will be presented May 6 through 22. Auditions start at 6:30 p.m. at the Mary Godfrey Playhouse, 2706 E. Pershing Blvd, and will consist of cold readings from the script. Adult themes, situations and language are part of the show, as well as stage smoking and fighting, so actors are strongly encouraged to read the script ahead of time.

Scripts are available at the Mary Godfrey Playhouse. If necessary, call backs will be held on Wednesday, March 16.

The Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning play, 'August: Osage County,' was written by Tracy Letts. The play takes place in a large country home outside of Pawhuska, Oklahoma. A film based on his work was released in 2013 with an all-star cast including Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts and Abigail Breslin.

The Cheyenne Little Theatre Players productions of 'August: Osage County' run at the Mary Godfrey Playhouse the weekends of May 6-8, 12-15 and 20-22. The play is being directed by Troy Rumpf and Jean Phelan. Actors are asked to bring a list of any conflicts they might have between March 17 and May 22.
