Do you remember the golden age of radio?

Even if you didn't live through it, you've probably heard some of the famous comedy sketches by Abbott and Costello, Burns and Allen and Ozzy and Harriet.

The Cheyenne Little Theatre Player's latest production takes you back to the days before television when families would gather around the radio in the living room. 'The Classic Radio Comedy Show' recreates some of the famous sketches from live radio broadcasts.Local talent will fill the roles of early radio comedians and the shows sound effects will be performed live on stage. During the show, old time radio commercials will feature Cheyenne businesses.

'The Classic Radio Comedy Show' runs Friday, Saturday and Sunday, November 15 through November 17, at the Atlas Theatre in downtown Cheyenne. Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and the Sunday matinee begins at 2. Tickets range from $5 to $12.
