A 28-year-old Cheyenne man could face up to ten-and-a-half years in prison after allegedly holding a gun to his wife's head and punching her in the face.

Stefan Frahm was arrested on July 12 after his wife reported the alleged incident to police.

According to an affidavit, the two got into a verbal argument over infidelity issues on July 5.

Frahm's wife told police that Stefan approached her with a Glock .45 caliber pistol, which she believed was loaded, placed the barrel to the right side of her head and continued yelling at her.

She said Stefan's friend witnessed the incident and was able to get the gun away from him.

Frahm then allegedly punched his wife in the left side of the face, causing her to fall back and hit her head on the kitchen stove.

The affidavit says Frahm admitted to a friend on Facebook that he pointed the gun at his wife.

Frahm has been charged with aggravated assault and battery-threatens with weapon and domestic battery-first offense.

Frahm was released from jail on Friday after posting $10,000 bond. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 21 at 9:30 a.m.
