Cheyenne Man Facing First Degree Murder Charge

A 31 year old Cheyenne man is facing a charge of Felony First Degree Murder in connection with his wife's death on Wednesday evening.

Christopher Town is charged in connection with the shooting death of 29 year old Crystal Town at a residence at 4009 Magnolia Drive Wednesday night. Cheyenne Police were called to the residence shortly after 9pm Wednesday. In the 911 call Christopher Town allegedly told police he had killed his wife.

A 10 year old child was also present at the home at the time, according to court documents. If Town is convicted of First Degree Murder he could receive a sentence of life in prison or the death penalty under Wyoming law.
