Cheyenne Police: Beware Alarm Company

The Cheyenne Police Department is warning local residents about an alarm company which has been going door-to-door without the required permits.

Officer Dan Long says the department has also received numerous complaints about Eco Alarm using deceptive business practices. He says some of the complaints include company representatives saying they will buy out a customer's existing alarm system, but not following through on the offer.

Police have also gotten complaints about the company using aggressive, high pressure sales tactics, according to Long.

Long is asking anyone who is contacted by a door-to-door Eco Alarm sales representative to call Cheyenne Police at 637-6524
