UPDATE: Cheyenne Police said Sunday afternoon they have contacted several suspects in the string of car vandalism cases. Police didn't say whether any arrests have been made yet and the names of the suspects have not been released. Police spokesman Kevin Malatesta says a BB-gun was apparently used to shoot out windows of the vehicles. The case remains under investigation, and anyone with information or surveillance video of the vandalisms is being asked to contact police at (307) 637-6525.

The Cheyenne Police Department is warning people to keep an eye on their vehicles after someone went on a vandalism spree and broke out the windows to about 100 cars Friday night and early Saturday morning.

Officer Dan Long says investigators are looking for a white or light blue early 2000s 4 door car with loud exhaust in connection with the case.

Police are also warning car owners to keep a close watch on their vehicles and to report any suspicious activity to police immediately, Police advise people to park in a garage if they have one, or in a well-lit highly visible area if not.

Anyone with information on the vandalisms or who wants to report damage to their vehicle is being asked to call Cheyenne Police Dispatch at (307) 637- 6525.
