Cheyenne Police Investigating Panty Thefts
Cheyenne Police are looking for a pair of suspects in the theft of over $9000 worth of women's panties from the Cheyenne JC Penney Store.
Officer Dan Long says police were called to the store at 1400 Dell Range Boulevard around 3;30 p.m. Wednesday to investigate a shoplifting incident.
He says store surveillance from around 1:30 p.m. showed an African American man in his 30's with shoulder length dreadlocks and a Hispanic woman in her 20's using a plastic Dillard's bag to steal $9,153 worth of panties.
Long says no store employees saw the crime while it was occurring. The man was wearing a black and green sweatshirt, while the woman was wearing a red, puffy coat and white headband.
Long says because no one saw the pair steal the clothing police don't have a vehicle description or other details on the suspects.
Police did warn other Frontier Mall stores, including Dillard's and Victoria's Secret, to be on the lookout for the pair.
