Cheyenne Police Warn of Scam

Cheyenne police are warning residents to be wary of callers telling them they've won something.

Officer Ginger Peterson says someone -- who shows up on caller ID as the Mary Godfrey Playhouse -- is calling people telling them they've won a season pass. The caller then requests a credit card number.

Peterson says the theater assures they are not making the calls.

She urges anyone who receives a call like this not to give out their personal or financial information.
