Wallet Hub recently published a study ranking "2016's Best and Worst State Capitals".

Each capital city was ranked based on a variety of factors, including affordability, economic well being, education, health, and quality of life.

Cheyenne was ranked as the second most affordable capital city in the country and had the third highest adjusted median household income.

According to the study, the people of Cheyenne work more hours on average than every capital city except for Juneau, Alaska.

Cheyenne also had the third lowest crime rate in the study.

Overall, we were ranked as the 17th best capital city in the country, ranking among the top ten in the 'economic well being' category.
