Cheyenne Residents Launch Online Fundraiser For Local Family Displaced By Fire

Last Friday, Carla Studer and her family lost everything in a house fire. Now, her friends, family and neighbors are pitching in to help the family get back on their feet.

When Marc Viste heard what had happened to his friend and her five boys, he sprung into action, launching an online fundraiser for the Studer family. In the four days since the fire, he's been able to raise over $1,400. However, damage from the fire is estimated at over $100,000.

Viste knows he has a long way to go, but he's determined to do everything he can. "There are tons of folks out there that want to help and hopefully this is just one step in the entire process. I know money won't replace everything they have lost, but every little bit helps".
