Cheyenne Restaurant Serves Up Insane Eating Challenge

In the battle of man versus food, one Cheyenne restaurant remains undefeated. To date, no one has finished the massive 8-lb. "Solar Eclipse" burrito at the Galaxy Cafe in the Frontier Mall.

The Solar Eclipse features three flour tortillas, filled with rice, beans, pork, chicken, and cheese, then topped with more cheese, more beans, sour cream, and guacamole. So far, 22 contestants have taken the challenge and they've all added their names to the Wall of Shame.

The Galaxy Cafe is one of several Wyoming restaurants known for their creative culinary contests. In Casper, JC's Burgers and Fries is famous for their "Ring of Fire Challenge", which features a hamburger with 16 patties, smothered in green chili and jalapenos.

Another one of Wyoming's beefiest battles is the "Big Daddy Challenge" at The Paintrock Inn in the town of Hyattville, during which diners are given one hour to devour a 4.5-lb. burger.
