Cheyenne School District Announces Boundary Changes

The Laramie County School District#1 Board of Trustees has finalized boundary changes in the central and east triads of the district for the upcoming school year.

You can see the new boundaries by clicking here. LCSD#1 officials say the changes are not yet reflected on the interactive school locator map at the district website.

Online household registration for the upcoming school year is scheduled to start tomorrow (April 21) and continue through May 1 using the Campus Portal account at the website.  A meet and greet for families who have been assigned to new schools will be held in mid-May so they can get to know their new teachers and school staff.

The change in boundaries is one of several steps the district is taking to meet a decrease in school funding caused by cuts in state funding and an increase in insurance costs.
