Families who are new to Laramie County School District# 1 will need to complete online household registration and address verification at their student’s attendance-area school Aug. 15 and 16, according to a release from the district.

Families must provide proof of address documents, a copy of the child or children’s birth certificate(s) and immunization records. Acceptable forms of address verification include light/gas bills and mortgage/lease agreements.

Water, cable and phone bills will not be accepted. Attendance-area schools can be found by going to the district website: Click on “Parents and Students,” “Student Registration.”

Returning elementary students who have moved have the option to attend school at the location verified in the spring, or may attend their new attendance-area school pending space availability.

All incoming seventh- and ninth-grade students are required to provide address verification, even if they completed registration in the spring. Parents/guardians will receive elementary class list notifications prior to the start of school.

From 7 a.m.–4 p.m., Aug. 15–16, elementary schedule pick-up will be held. High school schedule pick-up will be held on the same days from 7:30 a.m.–4 p.m. Triumph High’s schedule pick-up is Aug. 16 from 10 a.m.–4 p.m.

The first day of school is Tuesday, Aug. 29.
