Laramie County School District 1 will offer non-credit drivers' education classes to students this fall.  I remember back to all the excitement when arriving upon the threshold of getting my drivers' license to be able to drive.

This fall, LCSD1 will hold drivers' classes for students at Cheyenne's South High School in Room A104. The cost is $120.00 and due prior to taking the class. Parents may turn in the payment to Tim Woodard, South High's drivers' education instructor.

In order to participate in the event, all students must have a Wyoming Learner's Permit. Session 1 runs from 4 - 6:30 p.m. and all students must attend all dates listed below with only one absence allowed. Register here.

  • September 22-25
  • September 29 - October 2
  • October 6-9

Session 2 runs from 4 - 6:30 p.m. and all students must attend all dates listed below with only one absence allowed. Register here.

  • November 3-6
  • November 10-13
  • December 17-20
