Cheyenne ‘Trunk and Treat’ Event Saturday Night

Safe Kids Wyoming is sponsoring a ''Trunk and Treat" event  from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Halloween (Saturday) night, according to spokeswoman Stephanie Heitsch.

The event is designed for kids between ages 2 and 10, and will be held at the Little Lambs Preschool at 4776 Mountain Road in Cheyenne.

Heitsch says the event will feature vehicles in the parking lot with treats in their trunks, which will be open. There will also be kids games and activities inside the pre-school.

Heitsch says kids attending the event are asked not to wear scary costumes, such as witches or ghosts, in order not to frighten young children. The event is free and open to the public.
