As of 4 am on Wednesday, December 7, 2016, Cheyenne has received about an inch of what could be up to almost  3 inches of snow. Arctic air has our temperature at 4°. We are under a Winter Weather Advisory until 9 am.

Our Capitol City high should be about 10° early this afternoon, then drop to about -3° tonight. The cold weather should drift off to the east going into Friday as we reach the low to mid 40s.

Cold weather tips include letting water run lightly on sinks against outside walls and open the cabinet door to let warm air circulate under sink. Layer your clothing and find those gloves, a good jacket and an ice scraper/snow brush. Watch for black ice on the roads. Make sure pets are warm.
