Cheyenne’s Big Country Speedway Has 2 More Weeks of Racing
Have you ever been to the races at Big Country Speedway in south Cheyenne? There's still a couple weeks left to catch them this season.
On most Saturday nights, you can hear the roar of the engines at Big Country Speedway, 4820 South Greeley Highway, starting at 6 p.m. The stands open at 3 p.m. and hot lapping and qualifying begins about 2 p.m.Driver Dan Jagoditsh, car #25, has a big point lead for the Super Stock Season Championship.
In the Junk Yard Warriors division, there's a close battle involving 15-year-old driver Natalie Phelps, who won the mid-season championship. You might have heard her on the air with Teri Landreth.
Kassandra Camp, car #81, has the Mod 4 Championship all sealed up.
Admission is $9 for adults, $7 for seniors, $5 for children age 7 to 17 and kids 6 and under get in free.
