This week, the Cheyenne City Council voted down a controversial proposal that would have allocated funding for new equipment designated to repair potholes.

One City Councilman who voted in favor of the project is Richard Johnson, who represents Ward III. An outspoken advocate of the proposed rental agreement with Bergkamp, the company that produces the pothole patcher, Johnson recently posted several pictures featuring some of Cheyenne's worst potholes on his Facebook page.

Here's a couple of the biggest potholes in the Capital City, including one that was recently repaired.

At least for now, the city will rely on two existing crews to find and repair potholes throughout the community.
