Cheyenne has a potpourri of old signs on buildings, billboards and ghost signs. A ghost sign is an old hand-painted advertising signage that has been preserved on a building for an extended period of time.

Some communities across the country are revitalizing ghost signs. Repainting them so they don't fade into oblivion. Fort Collins is working to repaint ghost signs. The City issued a Request for Proposals for a professional with expertise in architectural and paint conservation. There are a few great ghost signs in Cheyenne.
