One of Cheyenne's most notorious landmarks may have a new landlord soon. The Green Door Lounge building on 301 E. Lincolnway has been occupied by a gentlemen's club since 1975 and recently hit the market with an asking price of $195,000.

The property is leased through 2020 by Green Door Drive-In Liquors and includes a 2,554 square foot building and .23 acre lot.

Originally known as Al's Green Door, the Green Door Lounge is the oldest strip club in Wyoming and one of only eight in the state. Once named "The Worst Strip Club In America", it has become a controversial cultural icon over the years and has inspired several urban legends.

One of their most famous guests was Bill Burr. In 2016, the comedian stopped by the Green Door after performing at the Cheyenne Civic Center and recounted the experience on his popular podcast.
