City of Grand Rapids Creates Record-Breaking Lip Synch [VIDEO]
Have you ever been to Grand Rapids? Do you think it’s a dying city?
The city of Grand Rapids, Michigan, made a list in Newsweek magazine earlier this year but was not happy about it, so they are fighting back using a video.
Newsweek listed Grand Rapids at number ten on their list of America’s Dying Cities.
The good people of the Michigan city responded by creating a record-breaking lip synch video starring more than five-thousand locals.
The city shot the video May 22nd and had to shut down several roads for the large group who sang along to Don McLean’s “American Pie.” It paid off, they created the longest and largest lip dub video ever. Now, that’s bringing some life to the city, what song do you think Cheyenne should sing to revive our downtown?
