Cheyenne Police Chief Brian Kozak is inviting anyone interested in local transportation issues to a meeting Friday morning at the David R. Romero Community Center.

Kozak says the meeting will kickoff the process of developing a new five year transportation plan for the city, replacing the city's current plan from 2008.

Kozak says a wide variety of issues will be discussed ranging from impaired driving to weather-related transportation issues to traffic flow. The chief says the impact of new traffic structures such as the Converse/Pershing/19th Street Roundabout will also be discussed.

The meeting is planned for Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 12 noon. Kozak says the general public is invited. He says the meeting is a great opportunity for anyone with questions or concerns about local transportation issues to be heard.
