Cheyenne East blew out Casper Kelly Walsh 57-27 in 4A playoff action Friday night in Cheyenne.

The Thunderbirds exploded for over 600 yards of total offense, including 220 passing yards and 348 rushing yards. East's defense was almost as dominant in holding Kelly Walsh to 218 yards of total offense. Despite the 30 point victory the game may have actually been even more one-sided than the final score would indicate.

East will next host Gillette (8-2) next Saturday at 1 p.m. in semifinal action.  The Thunderbirds defeated Gillette 28-14 in Gillette in the final regular season game for both seasons.

Meanwhile, Cheyenne Central (4-6)  saw it's season come to an end Friday night in Sheridan by a 28-7 score. That game was actually well withing reach for the Indians until the Broncs tallied a couple of fourth quarter scores to ice the victory.

Sheridan will visit Casper Natrona in 4A semifinal action next weekend.
