How many kids are in your family? Can you imagine dealing with 12 children? That's the premise in the Cheyenne Little Theatre Players latest production.

'Cheaper By The Dozen' runs May 3 through May 19 at the Mary Godfrey Playhouse on the corner of Pershing Boulevard and Windmill Road. Performance times Thursday through Saturday are 7:30 p.m. and the Sunday matinees begin at 2 p.m.The show was adapted for the stage by Christopher Sergel from the 1948 book by Frank Gilbreth Jr. and Ernestine Gilbreth Carey. Gilbreth was a turn-of-the-century efficiency pioneer with 12 children. He wrote about applying his factory techniques to his family life in his popular book.

The first film version of 'Cheaper By The Dozen' came out in 1950 starring Clifton Webb and Myrna Loy while the 2003 adaptation had Steve Martin and Bonnie Hunt as the parents.
