A conference focusing on mentoring for women in the business world is coming to the Plains Hotel in Cheyenne, according to Laurie Heath and Sharon Fain, who helped plan the event.

The "Connect to Women" mentoring conference will feature keynote speeches from Nancy Freudenthal, Chief Judge for the U.S. District Court in Cheyenne on Sept. 29 and University of Wyoming President Dr. Laurie Nichols on Sept. 30.

Heath says the conference will feature interactive sessions dealing with a wide range of topics, including leadership, thriving, success, inspiration and others of interest to professional women in a wide range of career fields. The conference is sub-titled "Whose shoes are you stepping into."

She says the $200 entry fee for the event includes three conference meals and two snacks as well as two professional headshot photos and several other benefits. The registration deadline is Sept. 23
