Could Coca Cola Super Bowl Ad Lure Visitors To Cody? [VIDEO]

The town of Cody is getting name checked in connection with a Coca-Cola ad set to air Sunday during the Super Bowl.Coca-Cola’s ad has a group of cowboys racing showgirls and scavengers for some soda. The cowboys’ hometown isn’t mentioned in the ad itself, but the fictional online biography that Coca-Cola posted for the cowboys says they hail from Cody, Wyo.

Scott Balyo of the Cody Country Chamber of Commerce tells the Powell Tribune it’s not a bad thing any time the Cody name gets out. He says that if people check out Coca-Cola’s website and are inspired to look for information about Cody and take a vacation in town, it’s a good thing.  (www.powelltribune.com)
