Cowboys Of The Sky, Wyoming’s Aviation Pioneers

We stand on the shoulders of giants. The brave airmen who developed air mail service between the coasts of the USA depended on Cheyenne on their appointed rounds. Here they would refuel at the Cheyenne Airport and if they were headed west, pick up needed supplies such as snow shoes and a rifle, in case there was an unplanned landing in the mountains.

I love the history of Wyoming and appreciate those who developed this part of the country. Friday night, I'll be watching Wyoming PBS's Main Street, from 8 to 8:30, to see their presentation of "Cowboys In The Sky."
