Crown Point Rock the Crown Bar in Cheyenne Saturday Night
Have you heard Crown Point out of Portland, Oregon?
They are one of the hottest up and coming bands out of the Great Northwest these days and they are playing in downtown Cheyenne at the Crown Bar, 222 West Lincolnway, on Saturday night, October 22.
The show starts at 9 p.m. and there's no cover charge. The trio will be debuting some new songs off their upcoming acoustic album.
Crown Point is visiting the KING FM studios on Friday, October 21, on their way to a show in Colorado. Jon Davidson, Russell Stafford and Kaycee Kay will be hanging out after three Friday afternoon, telling us what they've been up to since they were here in March and they might even play a cover of a Grateful Dead song.
No matter where you may be, you can stream their live appearance and interview at www.kingfm.com.Since Crown Point were here last time they've been working on a new acoustic album. The band is also featured on a compilation, "Esente Music's 2011 Oregon Rockers", being used to promote awareness for drunk driving prevention.
Also a band called the KLUBJUMPERS have done a remix of Jon's song "It Won't Be Long" to be included on the latest compilation by the Italian fashion brand Fendi. It will be available in all Fendi stores in Europe.
If you're not headed overseas real soon, the track is also included on the Deluxe Edition of Jon Davidson's latest solo album.
See Crown Point at the Crown Bar for free while you still can, before they make it real big and start charging the outrageous ticket prices.
