In a move that demonstrates some seriously pro parenting, this savvy new Dad has painted a wall-sized ‘Calvin & Hobbes’ mural in his son Ryan’s playroom. It’s hard to get too upset about that monster in your closet when there’s a lovable tiger on your wall, right?

This terrific time-lapse video documents the reproduction of cartoonist Bill Watterson’s iconic characters from start to finish. Let’s just hope Ryan doesn’t get the wrong idea about drawing on the walls.
