On early Friday morning (July 20) as movie-goers piled in to the Century 16 theater in Aurora, Colo., to see the new Batman movie 'The Dark Knight Rises', the unthinkable happened. An armed gunman with a gas mask entered the venue, threw tear gas into the theater and then fired random gunshots into the audience. As of the latest reports, 12 people are dead and at present count 59 other patrons wounded, including a 3-month old baby. Police have arrested 24-year-old James Holmes, who surrendered to authorities behind the movie theater. As the music community woke up to the horrific news this morning, several rockers, including Slash, Nickelback, Aerosmith's Joe Perry and Motley Crue's Nikki Sixx and Tommy Lee, are weighing in on Twitter with their thoughts and prayers for the victims and their families.
