David Bowie's video -- or mini-film, really -- for his new song 'The Stars (Are Out Tonight)' was directed by Floria Sigismondi and stars Oscar winner Tilda Swinton as his wife. It's Bowie's take on the ripple effect of celebrity culture, and it features a young, fame-hungry couple who won't let him and his wife be.

The technicolor, TV-watching "older" couple -- check out Bowie's mustard-colored cardigan and Swinton's aqua eyeliner -- are consistently haunted by this younger duo. Their idyllic life is threatened by unwanted "guests."

Notions of fidelity and androgyny are addressed throughout and roles are continually reversed. It's a vivid visual -- watch it a couple times in order to fully absorb the story and figure out who's who.
