‘Dazed and Confused’ Sequel To Be Named After Classic Van Halen Song

Remember the classic 1994 stoner movie 'Dazed and Confused'? Director Richard Linklater is currently filming a sequel and plans to name the film after the popular 1980 Van Halen song 'Everybody Wants Some'.

The film will follow main character Mitch Kramer into college in the early 80's, where he plays on the collegiate baseball team. Several actors who appeared in the original film are expected to make cameo appearances in the sequel, however, they won't be reprising their old characters.

'Everybody Wants Some' is slated for release later this year. The soundtrack will, reportedly, include Van Halen along with the Talking Heads, Blondie, Pat Benatar and several of the biggest artists from the early 80's.
